Hope Was Here

Greetings from the U.K! I finished this book on the flight here and I was so...... satisfied. A sweet and short book about hope, courage, death and politics in the small town of Wisconsin. As you can see there is a Newberry Award on the cover so I'm not lying;)

Hope Yancy and her aunt have moved many many times before: to Atlanta, New York and other big cities. But now she is moving to a small dairy town in Wisconsin. Her life has been pretty inconsistent without either a mother or father, and always leaving friends. But one thing that has been consistent throughout her entire life is her love for waitressing. Who new that this small town would be the home shes always dreamed for? With a little Hope spreading around, anything can happen.
